User Sync
User sync is how demand partners match their IDs to your users (cookie syncs and ID pixels). Higher match rates can lift CPMs, but syncs add network activity — so Anima lets you tune the timing and volume.

Where it lives
Account mode → Setup → User Sync. Settings are scoped to a customer or a single domain (domain overrides customer) and apply on your next wrapper release. They map to Prebid's userSync configuration.
Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Turn user-sync configuration on |
| Sync Delay | Milliseconds to wait after the auction before firing syncs (userSync.syncDelay). A delay keeps syncs from competing with ad rendering |
| Syncs Per Bidder | Maximum syncs allowed per bidder (userSync.syncsPerBidder). Prebid's default is 3 |
| Filter Settings | Rules for which sync types (iframe / image) are allowed for which bidders (userSync.filterSettings) |
Balance match rate against performance
A larger Sync Delay and a modest Syncs Per Bidder reduce the performance cost of syncing at the margin of match rate. If CPMs look low and you suspect poor ID matching, loosen these; if you're chasing Core Web Vitals, tighten them.
