UI Paths
A single reference for portal navigation labels, so the paths you see in these docs match what you see in the portal.
The portal has two sidebar modes that the user toggles between:
- Main mode — day-to-day operations (inventory, demand, wrapper). Default on login.
- Account mode — configuration and setup. Reached via Account at the bottom of the main sidebar; return via Ad Manager at the bottom of the account sidebar.
Main mode (operational use)
Header label: Ad Manager. Below the header is a domain selector — a dropdown of domains the user has access to. Everything you view or edit scopes to the selected domain.
| Path | What's there |
|---|---|
| Dashboard → Monetization | Revenue, traffic, supply, and demand analytics |
| Dashboard → Core Web Vitals | CWV RUM metrics |
| Dashboard → Earnings | Disabled — reserved for future |
| Dashboard → Analyze | Disabled — reserved for future |
| Inventory → GAM | GAM-sourced sizes and ad units surfaced for mapping |
| Inventory → Ad Slots | Manage ad slot definitions |
| Inventory → Layouts | Manage layouts (slot groupings by page pattern) |
| Demand → Prebid | Configure Prebid bidders and seats |
| Demand → Amazon | Disabled — reserved for future |
| Integrations | Identity modules and third-party integrations |
| Wrapper → Configs | Wrapper configuration settings |
| Wrapper → Experiments | A/B experiments and traffic allocation |
| Wrapper → Releases | Release management and deploys |
| Templates | Reusable ad-slot and layout archetypes |
| AI Assistant | Assistant chat |
| Feedback | Opens a feedback modal (submits via the feedback endpoint) |
| Account | Switch to account mode |
Account mode (setup and configuration)
Header label: Account. Below the header is an account selector — a dropdown of both customers and domains, since some setup (e.g. Core Web Vitals) can be scoped at either level.
| Path | What's there |
|---|---|
| Setup → GAM | Connect Google Ad Manager service account; see linked networks and connection status |
| Setup → Wrapper | View and copy the wrapper tag for the selected domain |
| Setup → Core Web Vitals | Enable and configure CWV tracking |
| Setup → Privacy | Consent framework, GDPR/CPRA, user privacy |
| Setup → User Sync | Identity sync partners |
| Setup → Supply Chain | sellers.json / schain configuration |
| Setup → Custom Dimensions | Define custom reporting dimensions |
| AI Assistant | Assistant chat |
| Feedback | Feedback modal |
| Ad Manager | Switch back to main mode |
Notes on the sidebar
- Help Center appears in both sidebars but is currently disabled (rendered as
opacity-50 pe-none). Publishers reach these docs directly at the docs URL until the link is enabled. - Domain selector lives in the sidebar, not the top bar. It is a dropdown, not a switcher icon.
- There is no top-bar search and no breadcrumb trail — don't reference either in docs.
Labels that have drifted in the past
To spot stale docs quickly, here are common terms that were renamed or that never matched the portal. Flag any of these if you see them in a doc:
| Stale / wrong term | Current term |
|---|---|
| "Setup" (as a top-level sidebar item) | "Account → Setup" (nested in account mode) |
| "Analytics → Overview" | "Dashboard → Monetization" |
| "Analytics" (as a top-level section) | "Dashboard" |
| "Demand → Partners" | "Demand → Prebid" |
| "Demand → Floors" | No such path — floors are configured in Wrapper → Configs / bidder config |
| "Demand → Settings" | No such path |
| "GAM" (as a top-level sidebar item) | "Inventory → GAM" (main mode) or "Account → Setup → GAM" (account mode) |
| "Prebid Wrapper" (in nav context) | "Wrapper" (in nav; full name OK in prose) |
| "Network Code" | "Network ID" (GAM terminology — note: the portal's Setup → GAM page does display a network_code value; keep "Network ID" for the GAM-side concept and network_code for the portal-stored field) |
| "Installation Status: Verified / Pending / Not detected" (for Wrapper) | No such indicator exists; Setup → Wrapper only shows Copy Tag / Download / source |
| "?anima_preview=true" | No such query parameter; wrapper debug is ?pbjs_debug=true |
