Quickstart

You've signed up for Anima Ad Manager. This guide takes you from zero to live header bidding in about a week.

What Anima does

Anima is a header-bidding management platform for publishers. You'll use it to:

  • Run unified auctions across multiple demand bidders
  • Manage ad inventory without touching site code after the initial install
  • Test and optimize with built-in experiments and releases
  • Monitor performance and Core Web Vitals in a single dashboard
No header-bidding experience? No problem.

We'll explain concepts inline. Concepts goes deeper when you want the "why".

Before you start

Checklist — gather these before Day 1:

  • Google Ad Manager access — admin, so you can authorize a service account
  • Access to your site's code or CMS — you'll paste one inline <script> block into <head>
  • Your domain provisioned in Anima — open the portal, switch to Account mode, and confirm the domain appears in the account selector. If it doesn't, contact your onboarding specialist.

Helpful to have:

  • Basic familiarity with how ads work on websites
  • A rough list of the pages or sections where you want ads
  • An understanding of your current ad setup, if any

See Before Day 1 for more on provisioning, contacts, and the sandbox story.
